WHAT BALAYAGE IS
Sun-kissed color, painted by hand
Balayage is a hand-painted color technique — color is swept onto the surface of the hair rather than processed root to tip through foils. The result is soft, natural-looking dimension with a grow-out that’s easy to live with.
At Frenzy Salon, balayage is tailored to your hair’s starting point, your skin tone and how often you want to be back in the chair. Our colorists work in both partial and full placements, so the amount of color — and the maintenance that comes with it — is a conversation, not a default.

Hand-Painted Placement
Color is painted freehand in the pattern that suits your length, texture and part — partial or full, decided together.
Toner & Finish
A custom toner brings the tone to where you want it, followed by a finish that shows the placement clearly before you leave.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
A few things to know
Partial balayage places color around the face and through the top layers — lower maintenance, more subtle. Full balayage carries the placement through the whole head for a more complete, all-over result. Your colorist will help you decide during consultation.
Timing depends on your hair’s length, thickness and current color, and whether you choose partial or full balayage. Your colorist will give you a time estimate at booking or consultation.
If it’s your first time in the chair with us, or you’re coming from a different color history, we recommend starting with a consultation so your colorist can plan the placement and toner before the appointment.
